Stack it - A Single two beat bar?

Postby SJB » 29 Jan 2021, 16:48

Just looking at playing Stack It - using the shadows track as a base:-
Trying to line up the BMP in my Daw - starting after the intro I find a one off two beat bar.
In my Daw its at Bar 91 ish (The start is shown part way through the start of the intro ).
Its when the orchestra comes in at the start of the chorus. At that point we seem to go 4/4 - 2/4/ - 4/4 to the end.

Is this when they had a tea break or something ? :D

I Don't think this was recorded to a clock track as the BMP does go up very slightly from about bar 86.

Had my first Jab :)

It's quite common, it's known as a 2/4 bar.
