Certainly the following year the Live ABC Kingston recordings were rejected by the same gentleman,
although why exactly this was, seems unclear on the eventual CD release around 2002?

Bruce has said that they didn't want the Colosseum tracks to be released in Britain, but only in South Africa. It was their way of saying 'thank you' to the South African fans, so I don't think Norrie Paramor had anything to do with that decision. The recordings for the album "The Cliff Richard Show - Live At The ABC Kingston - 1962" had/have some technical faults on the master tapes, so that may have prevented the album from being released in 1962, but also the release of the "Summer Holiday" album.
