Me and my father bought the original issue of "One Of Our Shadows Is Missing" (16 tracks) on the night the Local Heroes performed live in Eindhoven with Jet Harris and Brian Locking as special guests, during the International Cliff Richard & The Shadows Fan Meeting on the 27th of September 1997. I filmed the concert and watched it many times over. I got the CD signed by Jet and Brian, which made it a very special one.
There are numerous albums, by the way, which got a re-release years after and featured (unreleased) bonus tracks.

However we have to remind you that because of the current situation regarding the closure of all UK air space, packages will take longer than usual to arrived, as we understand that Royal Mail are currrently despatching orders to Europe by road and sea.

Yet it arrived today !

Haven't the Royal Mail heard of trains ? :(

Didier

Unfortunately there are no mail coaches any longer on what passes for our railway system, it all goes air as the Royal Mail management changed their policy many years ago. With a combination of Dr. Beeching and privatisation over the decades the present day railway system is a ghost of its former self.

I naively thought that the Eurostar could be used to carry mail between UK and France !

Didier

Apologies, I didn't notice that you had a Paris location.

However, recently I had ordered an item from a shop in England for mailing to me in Scotland and the length of time it took to arrive made it quite likely that it did go via Paris.

Does anyone know more precise when this album was recorded and when it was released?
