Anyone please help with info on my Copicat

I have a Watkins (WEM) Copicat which I bought about 10 years ago and have never really used. Anyway, I have been trying to identify the model etc. and also find a wiring diagram. I have been on a couple of websites and it seems that my unit has the sizes/dimensions/box and general look of a MK IV. It has some differences though. Where the neon power light is; mine has a power switch and I do do have the footswitch. The serial number is CW34446.
I believe it to be a 70's model but I am not sure if it is earlier than the ones I have seen on the web or later.
Is there anyone who can help please.

Hi , Try John Beer at www.amp-fix.com He repairs them and has a wealth of knowledge and spares etc, I have copies of wiring layouts for super ic and ic300 models. Regards Keith

From my old cardboard folder marked 'Echo and Reverberation', out comes a 'Watkins Copicat Mk.IV' circuit. The Mk.IV had two inputs, Ch1 and Ch2, three replay heads (plus record and erase), Swell and Sustain controls and a footswitch on an attached cable. The mains switch was ganged with the Swell control, there was a neon lamp and a three-position mains selector. It looks as though there were four push-buttons for selecting echos and that the output was a cable with a jack plug on the end of it. No date on that circuit.

The folder also revealed a circuit for a very early valve Copicat (dated 20/7/61) and a circuit for a Solid-state Mk.III dated 25/11/69 The Mk.III is very similar in features to the Mk.IV, but the power supply is connected to the echo electronics with a six-pin plug and socket and another six-pin P&S is used to connect to the motor.
