Current prices are $320 - (£201.29) using "current production" 42g Formvar-H wire

and $575 - (£361.72) using 2-55 "NOS" Belden "Beldure", 42g H coil wire manufactured in the now defunct Chicago USA plant (the Emerald Green stuff)

These prices are for a '59 Strat pickup set.

Hi all,
Sliders 59 classics now instaled on my master built 58 Strat. Comparisons with a recently acquired CS NOS 61 from Southpaw Guitars USA puts the Sliders just in front with regard to the Shadows early recorded sound. This was done via a Vox AC30, Q2 EFTP setup. Unfortunatley I dont have the cherry on the cake; ie the valve tape echo but I am working on that one.
I havent tweaked the 61 pickups yet but I have to say it sounds nice, straight out of the box a very good Strat sound. The Sliders, well we all know how fantastic they can sound thanks to Phil and Dave.
