Well noted John. The Colin Pryce Jones Guitar Heaven is an absolute joy to listen to and certainly one to add to the collection. Having said that i does seem a bit hard to find these days!

Thanks for the pointer John, but I acquired Colin's solo effort not long after it first appeared. Like you I thought that both the concept and execution were excellent.

Hi Everyone,
Some people may have received a message from Christophe Chen about, er...'The Shadows' (??) releasing (possibly downloads only???) new albums. Here's part of his message - slightly edited (with links to the relevant site) - because I would think that this might require investigation. Can't imagine Messrs Marvin, Welch, Bennett (& Goode!!!!!!!) being too pleased about it. Very modern, lots of synths / programming, different guitar sounds. All very well......but it's listed as being by The Shadows....which it patently isn't!!!

I also received this message from Christophe Chen a few days ago. I listened to some samples of these recordings, and obviously the are not from the Shadows. As the recording labels doesn't seem to come from any official company, the "Shadows" name has obviously been hijacked.
I have full confidence in people like Brian Goode or Bruce Welch to take care of this...
