Hi Roger and friends,

I must confess that this album took me a lot as I did the main work by myself and it wasn't my intention to "give" my own work and therefore the backing tracks as a" Karaoke for guitar players", but if some of you can enjoy, I'll do a selection of tunes ( cos I can't do all of them for technicals problems) in the weeks to come, and let you know how to order

Best regards to all

Pierre

Pierre, mon ami,

good to see you posting again on these pages.

When I return to full health, I have promised myself a trip to southern France to share a bottle with you and Guy.

Many thanks for your kind wishes.

Hi Pierre
We ALL play to backing tracks one way or the other, even if that BT is one we have made for our own music - as you have done for your 'Influences' album.
"Karaoke" is a fine thing for Pub singers and not-so serious performers but some of us do take our guitar playing seriously (even if we are not perfect performers) and wish to perform the music of composer/ performers because this music touches our Soul and is of exemplary quality. So in my case I would not be thinking of it as just 'Karaoke' but as a Challenge to see if I can perform the Work as you have done.
I hope this makes sense, my friend. ?
cheers
Ian
