Shadows-style bass player needed for New Year's Eve

My band, Quiff and The Shades have been offered a last minute gig in Southend-on-Sea on New Year's Eve. Unfortunately our bass player is unavailable. We've tried some of the usual suspects but as you'd expect they're either playing already or it's too far for them to travel. The gig pays well so if there are any takers, please send me a message on this site.

We managed to get a bass player at the eleventh hour. After that two other bass players contacted re an ad I'd put on Facebook's Essex Cover Bands' page. The words 'buses' and 'once' come to mind...
