I think in 1959 Hank would have been using a Meazzi - I had a Baby Binson in 1962, Drum echos were always a bit tetchy Great Sound but a lot of fiddling
about with the controls. Back in those days my watkins copycat was the one I used most.

This is a 59 Binson hard to find now...I believe Hank used his from 1961 as a back up..that is what Jet informed me upon seeing mine. We do try hard to replicate everything as it was.....and I for one am not going to question Mr Marvin's choice of equipment...if anyone has a valve Meazzi to sell give me a shout ... ££££'s for a cash deal.

Let me say there is nothing wrong with a Baby Binson, like I said sometimes a bit tetchy , but I do believe that the only record that is acredited to the Baby
Binson is The Rise and Fall of Flingel Bunt Hank used his BB around 1964 I am told. If you are going for the Authentic sound it might be hard to find a Meazzi like Phil Kellys or the one that Justin Daish uses, So there is always the TVS3 that can be obtained so you can copy the Meazzi sound very acurately.
In fact it is the current echo unit Hank is using.
