Any diary on this tour?

Postby kittycph » 07 Oct 2009, 18:47

Does anyone know if Brian is writing a diary from this tour? His other diaries from 2004 and 2005 were very enjoyable reading.
Nothing at his website.

I have heard, that Warren is writing on Twitter. Does anyone know how can I follow that?

Kitty,

Warren's twitter site is purposely locked to all but those selected, and we should respect his privacy. I do know that someone did post some shots of them practising from one of Warren's sites - but we shouldn't expect that to happen again unless Warren expressly approves that action.

I have to admit that I really enjoyed Brian's open diary that he produced on The Shads final tour - but don't forget they are scheduled to undertake a gruelling 55 nights on this tour, which doesn't finish until mid March; involving extensive travelling, covering many countries and cities. They will have earned their rest between concerts and we ought not to pressurise them into giving us an insight into their dailly routine no matter how appreciative we would be.

If it were to happen we'd all be delighted but we shouldn't be too dissappointed if nothing happens - at least we have the shows, which are simply outstanding.

I heard from another member, that Warren wrote about the tour almost every day on Twitter.
Then I thought, that there were a possibility to follow it, as I loved Brians diary.
Thats all.

I agree that Brian's diaries from 2004 and 2005 made for compulsive reading. Definitely a highlight of those tours. Also, you can see me in one of the photos! I wonder if Brian might write a diary for the Australia/New Zealand and South Africa tours - seeing as how their travels around he UK and Europe were well documented before?

How about it Mr Bennett? Please.

All what you can read on Warren's Twitter is : "This person has protected their tweets."... :(

I thought the whole point of Twitter, Facebook et al was to make the minutiae of your personal life available for all to read. :?
Why write it there if no one can read it - send the ones you intended to read your private musings an e-mail instead.
