That was exactly how it was Ecca, I had to remove my left hand with my right hand from the fretboard and straighten out my fingers, but the pain went up to my elbow, very strange indeed. :?

I was standing next to Alan and I could tell that he was in real pain, but apart from the initial onset he quickly got back to the job in hand and certainly didn't let the side down. I hope you're feeling much better this morning, buddy.

I had the same thing once - really bizarre and by the time we hit Cavatina which was mid way through second set, I was playing it just by sliding one finger up and down the fretboard as my fingers were just locked up !

Hopefully it's just a one off and glad you enjoyed the gig
