I understand that Duane Eddy is now lining up a UK tour in Sept/Oct this year. No details as yet but I will post again if I get some more info. Fingers crossed.

Duane was on the Simon Mayo show tonight.
His people are certainly getting Duane Eddy and his new album plenty of media exposure, I would say a lot more than The Shadows enjoyed when they reunited in 2004 if memory serves.

'bout time we had another Shadows reunion, isn't it?

I think because the Shads 2004 tour was an instant sell out, they probably didn't need to do the media stuff.

Also, Duane Eddy has a new album out with fresh tracks whereas The Shadows could only offer "Life Story".

Duane will be back in September for concert dates

The Richard Hawley "connection" has worked really well for Duane (& Richard & his band)

The "Twang" never really went away, it was just waiting for the right opportunity to return to the limelight 8-) 8-)

Rock on Duane :D
