Walter Trout!

Cheers Dave... Yet another great player with ENERGY. Like his version of Red House which the late great Gary Moore did on the Fender Strat Pack video - smokin'...

Just one last thing. Picking up on a thread a few weeks ago about versions of Sleepwalk, check out Pete Haycocks version. Go to Pete Haycocks official website and click on downloads, scroll down and you will find sound bites from his latest album 'Pete Haycock's True blues'. You will only get the first few bars, but you will get the feel for the rest of it. Pete sent me the CD (sorry he's an old mate) and his arrangement and playing of this number is superb. He was a shads fan and was sad to learn of the death of Jet too.

Too bad Theme For Something Really Important is missin. :(

Hi Walt

Duane was in contact with Jet & there were plans to do "Diamonds" but sadly, events overtook those plans :(

"Theme for something really Important" is from the album "Duane Eddy" from 1987, George Harrison gave Duane studio time & people like Ry Cooder, George & Paul, James Burton, John Fogerty, Jim Horn, Larry Knetchel, Jeff Lyne etc.... played on this album. If you haven't heard it, it's well worth a listen :D

Cheers
