Great article here from the New York Times website. Dick Denney, that much loved Vox designer, gets a mention in here. I well remember the MRB settings on both the Vox Conqueror and the Jennings range of amps.

...was in fact a flexi-disc pressed in the lamination of a sheet of card. Jennings sent me a copy in 1967 - and I still have it (the A4 sheet with a big round hole in it, and the 7" 33.333rpm disc).

I might put it up on Youtube.
