Just adding to last night concert the acoustic set did make me wonder what would it be like to see a reunited MWF. Now that's a thought!

Hi,

from what I've heard every show has started about 15 mins late,
the excuse at the NIA on the Sunday was that they were waiting for
a coach party!

One lady behind me was annoyed that they would have to miss the end in order to catch
their train!

It also started 15 minutes late in The O2 on 25th september. It takes more than an hour to get 15000 people seated.
Like Derek, I read all the reviews. They just seems to be better and better.
For me it seems to be a long time to 21st November in Copenhagen.
I'm going with my sister Diana and my grandniece Maria. Maria has been a big fan of Bruce since Shadowmania last year.
I can't wait

Before I read any of the other posts...

Yes, a BRILLIANT gig, as expected. Brian has a very laid back style of playing these days, then he'll just throw something in that will leave you open mouthed!!!! He really is on top form, actually playing better than he was 30 years ago!!! Incredible! We were at the back, quite high up, surrounded by quite a nice little group of very animated Cliffettes. Yes, what a great night! Let down only by the fact that we missed the first 20 minutes due to the fact that it took TWO HOURS, yes TWO HOURS, to get from Nottingham to the Arena! The traffic was unbelievable; not sure if there'd been an accident or if it was just normal Wednesday night congestion. So, we missed the first four or five songs. A shame, but there we are. A brilliant night, never the less. Poor old Bruce and his Tinnitus!!!!!

Keep on Rockin'

As we were crossing the Pennines at about 6pm, I switched to Radio Sheffield and heard that there had been an accident on the M1. Two lanes blocked northbound and one southbound - Air ambulance at the scene. They were predicting delays of about an hour.

Notwithstanding that, the traffic around the arena and getting into the car park was horrendous plus they were very slow letting people into the arena itself. Lots of empty seats at 7.30; show didn't start unti 7.50 when there were still quite a few empty seats .

But the show was well worth the wait and the extra disturbances as latecomers arrived and took up their seats.

Same situation at Glasgow, didn't let people in until 6.30pm and the show was delayed by 15 mins, didn't spoil it though. :D

Thanks for that, Dave. Yes, that would seem to explain it. Two hours to make a journey that should have taken no more than 40 minutes. Oh well, I suppose we should be grateful that we weren't involved in the accident. Someone else's night could have been a lot worse. I have a feeling we got into the place at about 8.o'clock - so maybe only missed ten minutes or so. Sorry if we disturbed anyone by turning up late!!!!

Fantastic night, though!!!!!
