I was very fortunate to be invited to play at this event and it was a pleasure to play with Tony Kiek on the keyboard. I would like to thank everyone who hosted me in Australia and helped to make it a holiday of a lifetime.

It was a great pleasure hosting Dan during his tour "down under". We rehearsed for a week at my place in Jindabyne before the 700km drive through the Snowy Mountains (and they were very very snowy) down to Melbourne for the Shadoz concert, where we were joined by George Lewis and Baz Woollett who many of you will remember from our various UK Shads trips over the last few years. Dan played superbly and was warmly applauded by the big crowd. After a stay with George in Wagga Wagga, Dan ended up back in Sydney for about 10 days where he did several more gigs hosted by Barry Fiddler of the Sydney Shadows Club. Dan and I are planning for some more gigs in the UK and Italy in 2012.

Great sound and playing Dan and George. Nearly missed this as it wasn't in the Sound files section.
Dan - several years since I last saw you at the Bristol U Play Shadows day. You've got older but still very young !
Glad to see your still playing Hank and the Shadows music so well.
