The Rosetti brand was used in UK only, elsewhere these guitars (made in Holland) were sold under the "Egmond" brand. Abel's first guitar looks very much like an Egmond Lucky 7 :
I had no recollection of the name Rosetti. I remember now the name Egmond. It was written on the tip of the headstock. I also remember the guitar to be very heavy.
Yep, I too began on a Lucky 7 (Rosetti in my case). Dreadful action. Everything Hank said about the Antoria applied to this as well. I remember a friend and myself 'entertaining' our parents at a party with Geronimo on two Lucky 7s. If Jane Austen had been present she'd definitely have said "You have delighted us long enough"...
