Jet Harris First Anniversary Memorial Walk

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know about a sponsored walk that will be made by John Dodd who is a great fan of the Shadows. The walk will take place between Sunday, 11 March (John’s 67th birthday) and Sunday, 18 March (the anniversary of Jet’s death).

John is calling his walk “The 67th Birthday Walk and the Jet Harris First Anniversary Memorial Walk". It will be in aid of three charities: the Jet Harris Memorial Fund, Lucy Air Ambulance for Children and St Luke’s Hospice in Harrow and Brent.

John will start his walk from his home in Surbiton, Surrey on Sunday, 11 March. During the following week he will travel to Winchester (where Jet died); Honeypot Lane in London (where Jet was born) and to Fairfield Halls in Croydon where John last saw Jet perform. The walk will end on 18 March – the anniversary of Jet’s death.
