Well it is here in NZ!
I tried to track down John Hawkins a few years ago, when I was writing sleeve notes for a compilation CD release, but drew a blank.
The story goes that he left Auckland and Zodiac and went to Australia.
I decided I'd e-mail the people at Zodiac, but to this day, my mail has been unanswered.

Strange all this talk about Ray Columbus ....
He is here at my Theatre ( Civic Theatre, Rotorua , NZ , where I am the Tech manager ) this Friday with the country show.
I think he is going to be the MC for this event. I met him late last year when he was judging the NZ country music awards.
Good to see him still actively involved after this many years.
