SKY *Reduce your bill*

Having read about threatening to leave Sky to get them to reduce your fees, I phoned them yesterday and asked them as a 12 year loyal customer (no mention of leaving) but complaining about special offers for new customers etc, a young lady said she would put me on hold and see what she coud do, 2 mins later she offered £12.50 line rental and £7.50 unlimited broadband free for 12 months , a saving of £240/year, just thought other site members might appreciate this info. Every bit helps

In my case - no good I only get about 2mB per sec over the landlines - too far from the exchange..
