The interviewer of Roger and Clem in the Youtube clip is John Repsch, who wrote Joe's biography.

Clem has of course played the music of The Shadows as part of Barry Gibson's band Local Heroes.

Also worthy of note is that James Corden, who played Clem Cattini in Telstar, is now the toast of Broadway having last night won a Tony award for Best Actor (ahead of Philip Seymour Hoffman, James Earl Jones, Frank Langella and John Lithgow) for his performance in the UK production One Man, Two Governors

Well Mr Corden certainly was not due any award for his portrayal of Clem Cattini
I would be kicked off this site if I EXPRESSED my true humble opinion!!!!

IMO, James Corden only ever plays one part, himself.

Didnt Errol Flynn and John Wayne make a living out of playing just one part in different uniforms? :D

True, but I can't stand James Corden at any price. In fact if it were not for the subject matter, I would not have watched the film at all.

If I were Clem Cattini I'd be most mortified at being played by James Corden.

Surely Clem was never that fat? He can't have been; drummers get too much exercise for that!

Clem (and others) have made the point that the amount of swearing in the film was greater than what really happened then. That's not to say that nobody ever swore but the film exagerated it and will leave a false impression for those who weren't around at that time.
