The "Marvin/Bennett" Tour in the 90s

From memory, they toured in 1994 and the show should have been recorded for video/dvd. However, a technical hitch occurred and it never made the transition and as a consequence of the failure, Hank's next tour in 1995 (Hank Live) was recorded on both video/dvd and CD. Sadly, Brian Bennett didn't feature in 1995 although there are bootleg videos/dvd of the 1994 concert in circulation.

Alan, thank you (and also my thanks to others who replied) for telling me that Ben Marvin was part of the "Hank Live" video and CD. I did purchase both some time ago from amazon.co, but it occurs to me that I must not have ever watched the video. I guess I filed it away for a rainy day, but now that I know Ben's in it, I will make it a point to watch the video.

Does anybody know whether Ben still performs? Or has he entered the "private sector" and no longer performs?

Saw them at Sheffield City Hall on that tour. Ben Marvin was with them looking suitably uncool and ill at ease with a black Strat. Some young guy on drums whom I've forgot. Gave the programe to some-one (Jock belatedly asked for it - remember Alan? ) Got Marvin's signature on it after the show.

Went up to the desk for signing and said Hi Brian would you sign the programe please. His head jerked up at the name and he was not a happy bunny. That's why I gave the prog away, I'm not that fussed at being patronised.

Last I heard he was living in Cambridge and doing projects with a rock band. But maybe Waffles knows more.
