Photo Idea for Shadowmania

Hi, everybody. I have an idea for a photo at Shadowmania, similar to Amanda's lovely idea about the group photo of Meazzi's. If you think my idea is really stupid, I will not be offended if you say so. I am very nervous about suggesting this but, here goes...

How about a photo to be captioned, "There's Only One Bruce." If Bruce was willing to do this, he would be in the center of the photo. Then a group of Shadowmania attendees could gather around Bruce, with everyone wearing fake, plastic, black-framed glasses to look like Hank, with at least some of those people holding a red Strat.

This is sort of a take on the Mattesson's advert. But from my point of view, the emphasis would be strictly on Bruce, not Hank, especially if the photographer thought of exactly the right pose. Maybe the "Hanks" closest to Bruce might crouch down, or hold their guitars on bended knee. And/or the people on Bruce's right side might hold their guitars left-handed so that the body (not the headstock) of the guitar is pointing toward Bruce. He'd be surrounded by red Strats.

How about everybody dressed as Bruce, since it is very much his occasion? Less easy to caricature but a coup if it could be pulled off.

I had another idea...but if I may, I wanted to first say that I do not mean to be intrusive or obnoxious. I am an outsider and have never attended Shadowmania. I just love Bruce and have been thinking a lot about his retirement. That is my only motivation, I am not trying to interfere. I hope you believe me.

I was wondering if anyone wanted to put together one or two slideshows of photos and/or video clips of Bruce, similar to what we might have done if we had thrown Bruce a Happy 70th Birthday Party. For example, maybe a couple of photos of Bruce throughout the years, showing his different hair styles, different clothing styles, different guitars, etc., maybe to include a couple photos from Summer Holiday or other movies where Bruce wore some crazy costumes. Video clips could be almost anything, ranging from some of Bruce's greatest guitar playing, to his funniest on-stage banter with Hank, etc. I remember seeing a video, which I'll have to search for on YouTube, where Bruce was wearing two guitars at the same time. He was playing a red Strat and had an acoustic guitar slung over his back...and he spun the guitars around and switched, mid-song.

I have no qualifications to chair any such committee, but I would be happy to dedicate some time and effort if that would be of any help. If anyone would like to give it a try, maybe someone could start one or more threads that we could use as a "depository" of sorts, and we could post photos and YouTube videos for consideration. And maybe there are people who remember a video clip that would be suitable but they can't find it...if you describe it, maybe one of us will come across it somewhere.
