A massive welcome to Tim Jackson, our new drummer.

We first met Tim way back in 2007 at the Shads European Fans Convention in Eindhoven, where he was appearing with the Foot Tappers. No doubt many of you will have seen him in action over the last few years. He was aged just 12 at the time and once we had got over the initial surprise, we quickly forgot his age and just enjoyed the quality of his drumming. Dare we say it, Tim is a bit of a veteran now at 17, although he just qualifies as youngest member of the band (....by a few decades).

We're certainly delighted to get such a fine, experienced drummer to replace Steve Green. He had deputized for Steve once before so we knew it would be a smooth transition, although rehearsals are a bit louder. We think Bob on the sound desk will be moving the sliders down a notch or two. We're all looking forward immensely to Tim's first gig as a fully fledged Bootlegger on 24th August at the Tivoli Theatre in Wimborne, Dorset. Not to be missed.
