You tube- Google plus

Does anyone see why You-Tube has been altered to incorporate changes for Google plus? does anyone think that it is an improvement ?

YouTube is owned by Google and they're having a big push towards Google+ as their social network offering, so all Google-owned apps are getting a higher degree of Google+ functionality.

I guess it's only an improvement if you use Google+ (which I personally don't; Facebook has all the cat pictures I require).

Well, I tend to use You-tube to listen to Shadows tribute artists and the changes are beginning to alienate them, with many threatening to pull out altogether. Obviously this won't bother Google one little bit but there was a nice community spirit there which brought guitarists from all over the world together.
