ShadowsFix - when suits you?

So, the next ShadowsFix. When should it be? Next time I arrange it I want to give people plenty of time to make their plans. I am in discussion with the necessary people and we are beginning to think about a date.

Due to my own commitments, I would prefer to aim for June, providing I can avoid clashing with the Tyneside and Scarborough events. Late summer/early autumn is not possible due to Lakeside's Celebration of the Shadows, which appears to be establishing itself as an annual event. There is the possibility of later in the year, perhaps November (same sort of time as the Shaddicts' Blackpool event), in which case a ShadowsFix in 2014 might still be an option. That, though, might throw up adverse weather conditions preventing people from travelling.

I think early summer is ideal. What about you? Let me know.

Trouble with SF2013 was that it was slap bang in the middle of holiday season
Remember that cJune2015 there is, I believe a 2 day Shads meet in Cheshire.

That's right, another weekend get-together in Northwich is on the cards for June 2015.

I know that you don't want to clash with other events, but surely it should be looked at in an overall context, for example how many people travelled down from either Scarborough or Newcastle? and from an other perspective, how many people who attended SF2013 attend either of these events? I know they were a few, including Shazam who attend Scarborough faithfully every year.
November is not a good time to travel (for me having to drive), so I'd be reluctant and bear in mind, it's only two months from the Lakeside event. Two months the other side, takes you to July, so I'd back June/July.

BTW we've just bought our tickets on line for the "In Celebration of The Shadows" at Lakeside on the 13th September, which was such an easy process.
