Top of the Pops

Postby drakula63 » 10 Feb 2014, 17:31

Apparently the Shads were cut from last week's 7.30pm showing of Top of the Pops. I watched this but didn't watch the later post-midnight repeat, so had no idea that they were even on! I'd have stayed up if I'd have known! Did anyone see it? This editing is ridiculous.

I've just downloaded it on "catch up" Chris. I assume you mean "Don't cry for me Argentina"?

You can get it there if you've got Sky.

Cheers, Alan.

Real name Sandra Slater, she lived round the corner from me in Alkrington, Middleton (now part of Greater Manchester, but back then, Lancashire) She was in the same class as my (older) sister at Alkrington County Primary School. I missed the fact that she had passed just last week. A very beautiful young lady, now an angel!

They're on at the 13 minute mark. Don't know how much longer this show will be available for (on iPlayer)...

Well done Chris

Yes, they're on straight after Elvis Costello which reminds me of a story.

Hank was in the canteen at the BBC when Costello came over to his table and said "Guess what, I've just been signing autographs out there. As you!"
