Finally finished my bass. I used an aerosol in Fiesta Red from Northwest Guitars and the colour is spot on as far as I'm concerned (it's practically the same as my USA 62 reissue Strat).
Purists & perfectionists among you might comment on the final finish, maybe not being as highly polished as it should be, but it will do for me!!!

I take it you used N/C . If you are using it already I guess you must have used a catalytic lacquer otherwise it would still be too soft. You will find as it hardens up you will be able to buff it more for a higher gloss. From the photos it looks pretty good. I am just going to respray my Burns Artist bass when I can make my mind up about original Red with blown in black neck, black or fiesta red. The shape seems to lend itself to Black or Fiesta Red. What do you think
