Sad to learn of Eric's passing on. But what a charactor and nice guy. He repaired my old brown Vox AC30 in his Maidstone shop and found an original footswitch for it. About ten years later, in 2001, I sold the AC30 to him. I never knew of his pedal steel playing though.
