OT - Knopfler solo music

For me Dire Straits was revision music during my school and uni years, I got Brothers in Arms (on tape) as a birthday present from my girlfriend (now my wife) while on a holiday in Hastings so we could play it in the car, at Christmas we bought a new stereo with a new CD player and talked the shop into giving us one CD to play in it, Brothers in arms was our only CD and the tape wore our the week after.
As a newby guitar player I am currently learning Going Home among the few shads stuff that I can do, hard work for me but I will get there.
I still have brothers in arms CD,its now in the cars CD player and it still reminds me of happy days long ago
