As far as I'm concerned, the more experimental Shadows albums are these:
- "Jigsaw": multi-tracking, vari-speed, banjo, 'alvin and the chipmunks'-type vocals, mandolin, fuzz-bass;
- "From Hank, Bruce, Brian And John": multi-tracking, organ, more vocals, Spanish-style number;
- "Shades Of Rock": heavy progressive guitar sounds and arrangements, organ, electric piano, piano, fuzz-bass, 'hydraulic-organ';
- "Rockin' With Curly Leads": almost an acoustic/electric guitar orchestra with contrasting guitar styles of Hank (rather traditional Shadows sound) and John Farrar (quite heavy and progressive);
- "Specs Appeal": half vocal, half instrumental. "Spider Juice" being very experimental;
- "Guardian Angel": ten out of eleven tracks are originals. Three adventurous vocal tracks and a rather bigger synthesizer accompaniment.
