Downloading avatars

Hi, I'm sorry this must be an odd request but I doi
I disown load a photo from mr photos s page to ire as an avatar on the forum page. I have tried following the instructions but being dyslexic & stupid doesn't help .....THANKS ...Humdrum.

I too have this problem - the file is always too large and I don't have the facility to reduce any further. I have no problem posting pics on the site. Basically I have given up trying

it DOES work BUT be careful of the pixel size / avatar max size allowed. The allowance is quite small and there is a limit.
That is what fooled me at first.
You may have to reduce the pixel size using Picasa or your own Photoshoppy type of software.
I DLd for FREE "Paint.net" and it has a RESIZE function.
