Thanks for that. It's a very interesting article and contains a lot of information that I wasn't aware of.

Somewhat off topic, the reference to Tony playing piano has made me wonder if, for fun, a list of alternative instruments played by The Shads could be compiled. For example we have:

Hank - piano, banjo, lute
Brian - piano
Licorice - harmonica
Tony - piano

I'm not sure about Bruce and John and I'm not including later members of the band such as Alan, Mark and Warren. Nor am I thinking of things like Bruce with a PB in the Eurovision entry and Hank, Bruce and Licorice with bouzoukis in 'Summer Holiday' (unless they really did play them).

I'm sure the list can be expanded by all you knowledgeable guys!
