If you were sent to a far away island which six Shadows "singles" would you take with you?.....mine would be Shazam (studio version)...Kon tiki...The Savage...Man of misery...Flingle bunt & Wonderful land, obviously I would like to take more but I am limiting myself to six.

I don't think "The lost city" &" "the sigh"were singles so they can't be. Counted.....ROY.

OOPS! The Lost City should have been a single in my humble opinion! :D

I'll substitute Riders in the Sky and Guitar Tango!

On the programme you're allowed eight records, so here are my eight - straight off the top of my head!

The Frightened City

Atlantis

A Better Man Than I

Goodnight Dick (Hank)

Music Makes My Day (Marvin & Farrar)

Gracie

Clearing Skies (or possibly Canvas) (Brian)

Stand Up Like A Man

Talking of Desert Island Discs, it seems odd that none of The Shadows have ever been guests on the programme - or perhaps they have been asked and have declined. Cliff was a guest back in 1960. His programme (or part of it) is still available to listen to on the DID website.
