Live at the Paris Olympia 1975

Admittedly the quality is very poor, to say the least (!), but here are some screen grabs from a VHS video I have of The Shadows Live at the Paris Olympia, June 1975. If nothing else, this proves that at least some of one of the nights was recorded visually and there MUST be more footage out there and of much better quality. Whether the footage comes originally from a cine film or early home video, I cannot say. I don't think it was done professionally, although there are two different camera angles (more to come!), which seem to imply that the camera was moved between the first and second halves. My hope is that more footage emerges in my lifetime!

What is the length of this VHS video, is it the complete show and from which date? Which tracks are on it?

There are just three tracks - Footapper, Dance on, The Rise and Fall of Flingel Bunt - and the quality is pretty bad (to put it mildly!). I can only guess that it is at least a copy of a copy of a copy. Maybe even more so.

Still, it proves that at least one of the shows was filmed/videoed (don't know which one) and leads me to believe that much better (and longer) footage is out there...
