Jet Harris Memorial Fund tops £20,000!

Hi Everyone,

This is to say a huge thank you and to share with you this certificate, which we received in appreciation of the fact that the Jet Harris Memorial Fund so far has donated £20,125 to Cancer Research UK!!

Thank you so much to everyone who has helped us to raise this incredible amount in memory of Jet. Thank you to all of the clubs, musicians and individuals who have donated money, donated items for raffles, organised events and helped in so many ways. We would like to say a special thank you to Bruce Welch who has continued to support the Fund. As always, all of the money raised will go specifically towards research into cancer of unknown primary.

We will be keeping the Fund open for the foreseeable future, so please do continue to support us if you can. Thank you again!

When I formed The Shadowers I never expected the unbelievable privilege of having the great Jet Harris to ask us to become his backing group. When he died I never expected the great honour of being asked to be involved in raising money in his name. When we started the Jet Harris Memorial Fund I never expected to be able to announce to audiences at my gigs that we had raised such a staggering sum of money in Jet's memory.
