On Hank's 75th birthday this morning BBC Radio 4 Extra repeated the 2011 documentary 'The Thing About Hank'. For those who have not heard it, it will be repeated today at 13:30 and can be found on the iPlayer here http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b015n6wd

It's a nice tribute to Hank and The Shadows: my only criticism is that some of the interview and music clips are severely edited. This results in the 'first Strat import' story not mentioning the James Burton connection and giving the false impression that it was Buddy Holly's guitar they wanted plus a real mish-mash of Apache.

Worth a listen though if only for the nice compliments paid by Jimmy Page, Mark Knopfler, et al.
