Hits right up your street

Help please

In the process of moving house & I came across this Polydor cd that seems to be the original version

Is it worth hanging on to or should it go to the charity shop with the pile of cd's that never get a listen

Cheers

Dick,
You could always sell it to me. I only have the Pickwick re-release.

Hang onto it, it's quite rare.

Thanks for the replies

The Shads in the 70/80/90's did not do that much for me (apart from MW&F) so I don't feel the need to keep it.

I did seem to remember that "Life in the Jungle" was quite rare for some reason but just came across this one when sorting out my cd cupboard as most everything I have music wise these days is stored digitally & cd's just don't get played anymore sadly.

Thanks again for the replies

Dick.

I still have mine.
Bought it when it first came out from the trade stand the first time The Shadows appeared at the (now demolished) Cornwall Coliseum.

HIts right up your street has a few decent tunes on it, it's actually one of their better 80's efforts.
Summer love 59 is still one of my favourite latter day Shadows tunes.

I like all four originals on "Hits..." but with 12 covers on it, I remember my "I know everything" 17-year old self thinking "Quantity over quality" when it came out... I still hoped - as I think many fans did - that they'd return to recording albums of (mostly) originals; little did I know what was to come...
