It shouldnt be too difficult to get the listing removed from ebay
listing digital downloads is not allowed.
there are also copyright issues.
just contact ebay with the listing number and report the item.

Hi Jay

Digital downloads are fine on fleabay but they are not supported by paypal guarantees seemingly for the reason that they are not physical goods.

Theft of another persons work/product is normally fraud but I do wonder now that CH has given up on EFTP what the legal situation is with the patches

Sadly there is more than one seller on the bay selling pirated stuff like this :(

As you say listings like this can normally be removed if reported

Dick.

Totally Illegal and anyone doing it should be condemned for this
How it's come to this is not hard to work out once Charlie stopped supplying them the enevitable
was going to happen,The sellers probably are or was members to obtain the the EFTP in the first place
this will eventually ruin the reputation of the EFTP as more than likely the quality of them will be
eroded and flawed in the continues copying of them along with other rip offs ect buyers will start
complaining about them and that will eventually undermine them

Charlie's had problems with eBay before when complaining about pirating etc and will not even have the word 'ebay' on his site.

Agreed Pete. Totally illegal to copy anyone's work. The trouble with digital copying though is that there is no erosion of quality - each copy is an identical copy of the original. It's not like 'the old days' when someone copied a cassette for their mate and he copied the copy ... each generation of recording getting noisier and lower-fi!

To the OP: Why have you posted this item here and on some other forums (fora?)?

Phil.
