I got that off ebay a few years ago. I would advise any Shads fan who hasn't read it to buy it (along with Mike Reid's Story of the Shadows). It gives a great insight into the story of the shads, especially the relationship between Hank and Bruce.

Is The Mike Reid book Still in print?
or is it a case of waiting for a copy on ebay or Amazon.

I got mines off ebay, i think it's been out of print for years (it first came out in 1983). Best keep an eye on ebay for a copy.

I've got that book .It's in perfect condition and with a bit of luck I will be trying my utmost to get Bruce to sign it( if I can get within a cooee of them) when I go see the Boys next month here.

I remember an episode of Through The Keyhole when the two houses featured were those of Mike Read and Mike Reid. The pedant in me has to mention that it was Mike Read who wrote the Shads' biography - Mike Reid was the bloke in Eastenders!

There are 8 copies of The Story of The Shadows by Mike Read on Amazon starting at £8.98 also 6 paperback copies from £18.87 and 8 Hardback copies from £47.69 of the Bruce Welch book.
Seems there more around that you may think.
