I also send my best wishes to the Shadows Guitar Club of Tokyo and sincerely hope that their families are all safe and well. I will be in Tokyo for four nights next month but unfortunately my visit does not coincide with a club meeting.

Can I also give a public "thank you" to David M and Yaeko for putting me in touch with Kazuo Yagihashi who is a member of the club.

Kazuo has kindly offered to lend me his 40th Anniversary Burns Marvin and a Vox AC15 to play at my son's wedding in Yokohama next month. How good is that ???

Yes, indeed. I hope and pray that those of you in Japan are all right and have not been affected too badly by this terrible event.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our members in Japan and all those affected by this terrible devastating event. 2011 is sadly proving to be a heartbreaking year with so many natural disasters and we are very shocked and saddened.

Many thanks to everyone for thinking of Japanese people.
I have talked with Kazuo Yagihashi and another SPC member today and they were all safe.
We are having earthquakes(aftershocks) many times since we had the first one yesterday afternoon.
I do hope we won't have a big earthquake again!!!!
Tsunami is also awful and many people were killed and missing.

Yes we wish them well and hope recovery from this disaster does not take too long. It is alarming to see how quick it can all be trashed by natures forces.
