He also played lead on "It'll be me" when it was featured as part of Cliff Richard's set when on tour (circa 1963/64/65) with The Shadows with Hank on piano. I definitely recall that.

Whether it's him on the single?

The recorded version of It'll Be Me definitely features an overdubbed solo from Hank, possibly (from the sound of the guitar) on a prototype Burns.

Listen in stereo (preferably on headphones) and all becomes clear.
