I am glad you posted this info.
I am very sorry, I had no idea how far it was for you and especially for Eric.
I would have loved to meet all of you, but it's too much hardship and money for you.
It's very nice of both of you to be willing to travel this far to meet us.
As a Californian, I fully realize the impact of such distances on your personal life.
I guess we shall just spend the night of the 26th in London and embark the day after as Christina
wanted to roam around in London.
I will be retiring next year (God willing) and we will plan a full trip to UK.

Any Rockabilly show / venue in London I could go to n the 26th?

I apologize, I don't know where the British friends live in UK.
I know Charles Campbell lives the farthest (Scotland?).

I don't think so.

The Surrey Club meets on Fridays.

As you know, 26th August is a Wednesday!

I'm still up for Waterlooville (if they'll have us).

Hi Jim,

I am not sure what to do.
If we decide to go, I will have to make different trip arrangements.
Christina would either like to stay in London (not a great Shadows fan anyway) or stay one more day
in Florence and join me on Thursday 27 in Southampton to embark.
In which case, I would fly directly to Southampton from Florence on the 26 and book a hotel there.

What's your thoughts?, is it at all feasible?

Waterlooville is a bugger for me to get to, there are no reasonable trains.
London was the only option on the 26th, during the day, there are plenty of trains from Brum.

I am trying to find a flight from Florence to Southampton or a Town near Waterlooville and book a hotel there for the night (26th).
(I'll take a real strat or a Gretsch any day over a stay in London)
I'll be very happy to see whoever can make without hardship.
I'll have to confirm that I indeed found a flight and a hotel in that area.
