The Shadows' multi-track recording

Hank overdubbed the guitar solo on I Love You So (from Cliff and The Shads' Me and My Shadows LP) on 17th March 1960 after the original track had been recorded. Is this the earliest case of Shadows overdubbing/multi-tracking?

Bruce stated that their first overdubs were used on Foot Tapper (late 1962) but this can't be right as i'm sure Hank overdubbed a second lead guitar onto Some are lonley which was recorded earlier that year.
