Very sad indeed. I can remember being completely astounded by Mick's playing when a friend played me The Pirates' Skull Wars for the first time. Condolences to Mick's family.

Dear Mick R.I.P. A true legend, an absoiute gentleman and a good friend in the often tough music business. You displayed such bravery when you did those shows with The Animals last autumn. Your wonderful contribution to music will keep your memory alive.

I am, fortunately, in a successful sixties tribute band! We play "Please Don't Touch", "Shakin All Over", "I Can Tell" and "I'll Never Get Over You" every single week!

The music will live on!

A very sad day indeed. Mick was an inspiration for countless young (and some not so young) guitarists.
He will be well remembered through a fine musical legacy.
Sincere condolences to Mick's family.

One of the great guitar heroes - before we knew what a guitar hero was. Sadly missed but what a legacy.

RIP
