Don't know why I've never heard these guys before - do they still have 'day jobs' !

Check out also The BBC Band.

I suspect they may have some 'assistance' as far as the vocals are concerned.
What do others think?

Iain, thanks very much for posting this excellent clip. I am thinking of going to see these guys in LA in October when they will play Revolver and Sgt. Pepper's in their entirety. I particularly like the fact that they don't dress up or wear wigs like some other Beatles tribute bands I've seen!

I'm curious about the title of your post - What did you mean by "And we thought we were alone...."?

Oh, just that this site is full of musicians aspiring to recreate Shadows music in all its glory, some in bands, some as individuals, and all the while there are these guys doing the same thing with the Fabs. It's not tribute stuff, it's accuracy in every detail, just as some of us strive to achieve

Yes I agree this band is good but all this adulation from musicians on here I can not understand they are not that fantastic that they are a replacement
for the real thing. This is professional recording at its best at Abbey Road The 60s as I remember them were Raw - hungry - and basic that is what made
the 60s so special it was a new type of music being born by so many different bands - This Fab Faux are very good copies of an unbeatable original.
the very same as Tribute bands to The Shadows, the original is allways Best.

The original will always be just that, of course.
