Hi Jay, I agree that you need rhythm guitar for a good Shadows band, this was just an idea to give you some versatility in case you face a gig without the full complement of players.
Our band Rock of Ages is a 5-piece vintage rock'n'roll outfit - 2 guitars, keyboard, bass and drums - but we can work as a 4-piece if someone is missing. Our keyboard man can fill for any of us and we can cover him.
