You can get a better Hank sound from a Gibson Les Paul and a Marshall stack rather than a Strat and an AC30!
The Ventures were much better than the Shadows and 60s music began with the Beatles! :D

Ventures

The hit that the Ventures are well known for and which was played when they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame - Hawaii Five O - was recorded for them by a session guitarist. That always wakes up the Ventures forums.

I suppose with the vast amount of knowledge that has been accumulated on this site over the years
there must come a time when most questions have been answered, and the longer you
have been a member the more knowledge you will have absorbed. My point being that the site is
achieving it's goal, so the administrators should be very pleased. No doubt there will always be
new questions and problems, but over time they must diminish. Just my own opinion, feel free to
shoot me down :)

Best regards,

Maurice.

The late Tommy Tedesco?

I agree that H5O is not an easy tune to play or learn, but if anyone could sight read it, it'd have been Tommy.

It was indeed Tommy Tedesco... Legend has it that he played the second verse with the guitar behind his head.
