I am hoping to attend (subject to business commitments) but am getting somewhat confused about " live sets" and "backing tracks" on the Friday evening. On the live sets you seem to have a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 numbers (which does not appear to be balanced) and also no apparent mention of backing track number. Pehraps, I have missed out on some fuller explanations earlier on, on the website?

I've not put Backing Track numbers on the list because it's basically just a list of "taken" tunes..

As for numbers of songs There is one person who only sent me two, as for the 4 numbers I've removed one to make up for the added extra (This Hammer)

If anyone really wants to play then let Amanda know.
We must have numbers and if there are lots of players then people's quotas will have to be reduced accordingly so as to get everything in. This is exactly what we do at the clubs anyway, if it's a good turnout then you play 2 and of there aren't many you play 3.
Arpeggio's song list appears imbalanced because This Hammer was my suggestion and there will be 3 singers doing it, not just him.
How about listing now who's playing on what ?
Erm.... my memory is a bit suspect.

Just to reassure everyone refs myself!! LOL. Months ago I sent in a potential list of3 songs as requested. I don't see "This Hammer" as part of my 'set' (LOL). I was happy to do that as a joint collaboration to help Ecca out. Still very happy to do it Ecca - yes, I will take the 'main' vocal if that's what's required. Accordingly - if Amanda (or whoever the 'powers that be' are) wishes to excise one of the three songs I originally proposed (ie - cut my own little bit down to 2) -then that's also fine by me. Just didn't want anyone to think that I'd tried to 'blag' 4 numbers at the expense of anyone else. Very happy to do just 2 + "This Hammer".

I wasn't certain what to do with your numbers but removed one of them to make way for This Hammer.

As Ecca says we'll do what we do at the Hankies, have a second round if there's time, bearing in mind that this may run
on longer than at the Hankies...

As for live backings, we need to put a list together of players for the backing bands and then it's up to people who are down to play
to decide whethrt they want backing tracks or live back line and check if the backline knows the tunes they are playing..

He! He! It's all fine by me - I'm very easy going as you know. But...just to re - iterate. "This Hammer" was a number which Ecca himself wanted to do as part of his set....but he put out a request for people to help him out & I was one of the volunteers. Thus: "This Hammer" wasn't one of my own numbers - that's all I'm saying. But I am fine with it all. As I said in my previous comment - I just didn't want people to think that I'd asked to do 4 numbers.
