Nice pics, I guess there are fewer this tour because of the larger venues, which is a pity.

Ann & I went to the Nottingham Concert and I can only echo what´s been said. The sound was fantastic and it was definately good to see everyone on stage so happy. Anyone who has still to see the tour is in for a REAL treat - enjoy!

Hi all

I've just uploaded some pics of the Nottingham gig into the Gallery. Sorry they're late but Ann & I went straight off on hols the next morning so this is really the first chance I've had.

Cheers

Sorry I am a bit late adding to this thread due to my holiday starting on the 1st October and I have just arrived home. I have been a Cliff & The Shadows fan from 1960 and have seen them live on numerous occasions throughout their careers. The Concert at Nottingham in my honest opinion was not as good as the 1978, 1984, 1989 concerts and the 1990 Knebworth show.
Reading previous messages everyone seems to agree Cliff’s voice was great I thought he was a little flat and weak on some numbers and the sound of Hank’s guitar on The Savage was to me very mellow I was sitting near to the rear of the arena so the sound might have not been to good there.
One other item which I felt was very unprofessional was the video camera on Brian in between a few numbers as Cliff was speaking showing Brian leaning forward and looking to his left with drumsticks crossed ( waiting for the click track to start ?) sitting at the back looking at the video screen you notice these things far better not to have a camera on Brian at this point.
The second half of the show in my opinion was far better the 1st half.
I am glad I went to see them because I think this will be the very last time.
Thank you Cliff & The Shadows for 50 years.
Jim.
